About Us
We are extremely proud of our Mini Club which offers top quality swimming lessons for children from the age of 5 to 11, following our own unique framework, similar to ASA Framework but with a greater focus on technique.
We offer 40 minute swimming lessons Sunday afternoons, and 30 minute lessons on Monday evenings at Darlaston Swimming pool. WS10 8 AP
Upon completion of the framework (approx. equal to ASA Level 6/7), children are ready to progress on to competitive swimming, in the centre’s main 25m pool, with the Junior Development Squad at Bilston Swimming Club, if they wish to do so.
Our Staff
- All of our staff have come from a competitive swimming background and are able to call upon their own experiences to ensure children develop a good technique in all 4 strokes.
- Coordinators will stay on poolside overseeing every lesson ensuring teachers are providing your child with the highest quality lessons and therefore constant progression.
- Qualified lifeguards are present throughout every lesson in addition to teachers, assistants and coordinators, for that added parental peace of mind.
- All staff have enhanced DBS Checks.
Our Facilities
We are currently offering beginners lessons in the shallow teaching pool at Darlaston Leisure Centre. Children will then progress onto the big pool, with deeper water and longer lengths. The centre offers the choice of individual or family changing rooms and showers.
Parents are able to watch from the viewing area / cafe.
Your First Lesson
All you will need to provide will be goggles, appropriate swimwear and a towel. We provide all other equipment.
